وقال الصادق (عليه السلام): غسل يوم الجمعة طهور، وكفارة لما بينهما من الذنوب من الجمعة إلى الجمعة .
Imam Jafer-e-Sadiq asws said:
The ghusl of the day of Jum`a is a purifier, and an atonement for the sins from Jum`a to Jum`a.

رسول اللهِِ (صَلَّيَ اللهُ عَلَيهِ وَ آلِهِ): يا عليُّ، على النّاسِ كُلَسَبعةِ أيّامٍ الغُسلُ، فاغْتَسِلْ في كُلِّ جُمُعةٍ ولَو أنّكَ تَشْتري الماءَ بِقُوتِ يَومِكَ وتَطْويهِ، فإنَّهُ ليسَ شَيءٌ مِن التَّطَوُّعِ أعْظَمَ مِنهُ .
The Prophet saws said:
‘O Ali asws! People must bathe [at least] once every seven days, so bathe every Friday, even if you have to buy the water with [the money set aside for] your provision of that day and go without food, for there is no recommended act of worship greater than it.’

Man came to Abu Abdullah asws saying:
Teach me a supplication which can bring me the provision(money).
He asws said: Trim some parts of your moustache, and clip your nails, for this should be done on Friday.
Abu Abdullah asws said:
He who clipped his nails and trimmed his moustache every Friday and said: ‘In the Name of Allah, and with the path of Mohammed saws and the house hold of Mohammed saws’, he will be given a reward equal to the emancipation of one of the Ismael’s sons for every clipping or trimming.
Abu Abdullah, his father asws reported:
The Messenger of Allahazwj as saying: He who clipped his nails on Friday, Allah will dismiss the epidemic from his fingers, and will admit medicine to him, and it was reported: He will not be inflicted with either madness nor leprosy nor elephantiasis.
Abu al-Hassan Al-Riddah asws said:
Any man should not abandon the perfume at any day, but if he cannot afford that then he can use it once every two days, and if he cannot afford it, he can use it every Friday, and never to abandon it at all.
